Alfred I. duPont (1864-1935) – Industrialist, Financier, Inventor and Philanthropist
“Anyone who is instrumental in preventing malicious hell cats, operating under the guise of women, from injuring other members of the human race, who are forced to tolerate their existence, is working in a good cause.”
In 1907, Mr. duPont filed preliminary papers in preparation for a lawsuit against two prominent, local females, charging them with slandering his new, young wife, Alicia. His words were written in a letter to his cousin during this time but still apply today. Some things never change, they are just rewrapped. kqd
