“My mother said I must always be intolerant of ignorance but understanding of illiteracy. That some people, unable to go to school, were more educated and more intelligent than college professors.

I can attest to this observation because my mother, who was unable to go to college, is far better educated, and more intelligent, than most of America’s college professors as well. Just as with Abraham Lincoln, she is self-taught, having spent her life in the pursuit of knowledge, reading and studying her way to excellence. kqd
