It's the Women, Not the Men!

Dr. Mary Calderone (1904-1998) – Physician

“Our children are not going to be just “our children” – they are going to be other people’s husbands and wives and the parents of our grandchildren.”

Although Ms. Calderone was considered ahead of her time, with her early advocacy for sex education in public schools, and with her involvement with Planned Parenthood , we are living today with the unintended consequences of her efforts, which have proved to be less than successful. That said, her broad insight into raising children still holds today. kqd
