“He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers; or else I will come and strike the land with a curse.”
Malachi 4:6
Beware! Although this verse refers to the final judgement day it could just as easily explain the existence of the millions of dysfunctional, fatherless families in America – as fathers turn from their children and children turn from their fathers. Simply put, they have been cursed. kqd

It is just way beyond the imagination how a parent can abandon a child, as if they simply don’t exsist . what ever happened to “respect your elders”? Or “teach your children well”? We must be consistently setting examples by practicing common curtousey (proper manners) respect, and common sense. We neglected (many single parent homes in particular, as it is job requiring more than 1 person) to teach our children these things and have created rude, selfish young adults with entitlement complexes. please, let’s teach them now. Thank you.

You are describing the depleted outcome of the removal of Christian prayer from our public schools. We are now living with generations of children (adults) who were not only denied the grace and support of daily communal prayer but an education bound in the behavioral expectations of their Christian faith as well. Without this infusion of Christianity’s high standards of behavior to guide people’s behavior, our culture is now imploding.
