Martha Stewart was convicted in 2004 of securities fraud, obstruction of justice, conspiracy, and lying to federal investigators and went to jail. When she was released, Macy’s CEO Terry Lungren helped her rebuild her business by signing a contract giving her exclusivity at Macy’s. He then spent 40% of Macy’s marketing dollars on her brand, despite the fact that Stewart’s line only contributed 17% of the stores sales. Nice guy.

Lungren and his wife believed Stewart was a close friend as well as business associate. But, today he is in court, suing her for breach of their long-standing contract, because Stewart recently signed another contract with J. C. Penney to sell her goods through them too. Bitch.
