The American diet is a joke! This country eats more garbage per person than any other country in the world and it shows. The vast numbers of adult, two-airplane-seat-wide, rear ends walking along America’s sidewalks is bad enough but now the kids are at serious risk from obesity as well.
We can thank the liberated mothers who now spend most of their precious time concentrating on becoming a good co-worker rather than properly caring for their children. Giving their kids three healthy meals a day has dropped to the bottom of most young mom’s priority lists.
America’s kids are fat and their mother’s are to blame. In order for a ten-year-old child to
become fat, her mother has to be the culprit. How else could a ten-year-old find, buy or eat enough junk food to become the weight of a normal fifteen-year-old without her mothers knowledge or consent? It is unfathomable why these lazy women want to slowly and deliberately put their children into an early grave.
Granted the public school systems dropped Home Economics from their curriculum years ago, which hasn’t helped the situation. But, throughout history, mothers have always placed the care and feeding of their children at the top of their priority list. In the past, food may not have been plentiful but at least it was God-Given-Good and mothers strove to provide the best food available for their children.
It’s bad enough that today’s mothers aren’t giving their children nutritious food to eat but to make matters worse, most aren’t even feeding their kids anymore. The schools, day care centers, fast-food joints, frozen food companies, pizza places and even the movie theatres are feeding the children. Most liberated mothers are too busy chasing nonsense careers to even be bothered with their children’s diet. This is a national disgrace! Mothers, whether they want to admit it or not, have a moral obligation to care for and feed their children.
Today’s mothers are not mothers in the true sense of the word. They are fly-by-night caretakers, doing as little as
possible to get by. They claim to be too busy, too stressed, too tired, too rushed or too ignorant to cook. But, there is no justification for not properly feeding your children. It is the most important thing mothers do for their children. Without good nutrition kids can’t grow properly. They can’t think properly. They can’t see, taste, hear, smell or feel properly. They simply cannot thrive. Letting hungry, growing kids resort to eating sugar-saturated candy-flavored cereal for breakfast or pre-packaged lunch snacks with 24% of the daily fat requirements and 18% of their daily salt intake and drink soda all day is a new form of child abuse!
In addition, when they are not fed at home, kids don’t learn table manners, conversational skills, how to be helpful or even how to set the table. They fail to learn what it means to be part of a family, to sit still, to show respect for their parents, to be grateful to God for their family and the food or to even speak
English correctly. Hundreds of life’s lessons are learned at the dining room table, taught by the most important people in the children’s lives – their parents. Without this one family tradition children are denied the very basic elements of becoming a useful member of society. These kids are not only scarred for life physically but emotionally and socially as well. It’s the Women, Not the Men to be continued…
