“Unprecedented financial pressure, and an ever-increasingly aggressive public culture, along with social, moral and spiritual fragmentation, are leading to lives being overwhelmed by stress, intolerable interior isolation and even quiet despair.”
This is the result of millions of women who have substituted the ideology of radical, second-wave feminism for the tenets of their Christian faith. kqd

He makes a really good point. Although we have great comfort and ease here in the Western world, I sometimes wonder if all that stress, ” intolerable interior isolation and quiet despair,” doesn’t make us less privileged and more miserable than many who came before us and had a lot less comfort. It’s an odd thing, here in the western world we’ve got talented people, rich and famous, who commit suicide and yet you don’t see people in war torn Somali seeking anti depressants. Many of those people are simply grateful to be alive.

Agreed. Non-Christian feminism has shifted women’s priorities away from those loving, generous, giving priorities associated with Christianity and replaced them with the selfish, narcissistic, highly egocentric priorities based solely on acquiring STUFF for themselves. It is a very, very poor substitute for their abandonment of God and family.
